Let’s get in touch!

Jenny Flaman

Jenny is our in-house writer and jack-of-all marketing trades. After her time well spent in post-secondary education earning her a diploma in Journalism from SAIT and Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, she spends most of her time designing email newsletters and educational websites. After 9 years working as a server and bartender, she joined Impact Group to work alongside Kate in 2009, where she used her skills to learn the ins and outs of Western Canadian agriculture from all angles. After launching Dote Magazine with Kate in 2015 and dedicating her creative energy to it for five years, with Kate, she channeled her energy back into marketing with the launch of their partnership in Thoughtwell Creative. She is now leaning into her 17 plus years of experience learning about and working alongside the agriculture industry.

Jenny lives in Calgary with her husband, Jon, daughter, Quinn, and bulldog, Winnie, and is happier than ever embracing slow mornings and handy crafts.

Kate Klassen

Kate is an artist and designer in all aspects of her life. She started her professional journey as a self-taught graphic designer with Impact Group in 2001 working on marketing and branding for companies in agriculture across Western Canada. After almost 15 years in this role and taking on the creative director position, she launched Dote Magazine with her sister, Jenny, and the support of Impact Group. She devoted 5 years to growing a local creative community, but after ten regular issues and three Wedding issues, it was time to refocus on marketing and agriculture, so Kate and Jenny went out on their own to start Thoughtwell Creative as a team of two. Kate brings over 25 years of experience in marketing and creative expertise to the Thoughtwell team.

With new empty-nested roots in Bragg Creek, Kate and her husband Mike, while always working closely together, are constantly finding new creative paths to focus their energy.

Emma Bayduza

The addition of Emma to Thoughtwell Creative took our long-time team of two to three while simultaneously opening our eyes to a new generation (Z). As a child of the social media era, Emma learned from a young age the importance of beauty and creativity in everything and, most importantly, how to capture those in an image. Emma dove into her passion for photography in the latter half of her high school career and realized she would learn the craft best through practical experience. She worked alongside successful local photographers and eventually took a job with Michelle Johnson (FrancisMoss) where she honed her photography skills and eye as well as her digital design and editing capabilities. For Thoughtwell, Emma is taking on website design, social media for clients, and helping with exciting new ventures.

Emma also started her own photography business (Emma Gray Photography), where she is enjoying finding her own style while getting to know and capture families in their natural habitat.EmailLinkedInFacebook
